BYON Membership Program Terms and Conditions

The BYON Membership Program (Membership) is operated by ORIX Finance Services Hong Kong Limited (ORIX). ORIX may from time to time provide different finance products, services, benefits and rewards to BYON Member (each a Member), subject to relevant terms and conditions. By agreeing to become a Member, the Member confirms that he or she has read and agreed to the below terms and conditions.

Eligibility of Membership

The Member confirms that he or she is at least 18 years old is a Hong Kong resident holding a valid Hong Kong Identity Card on or before BYON Member registration date. The Member confirms that the information submitted for the purposes of his or her Membership application is authentic, accurate, complete, not misleading and without any elements of fraud. The Member confirms that his or her registered name and date of birth is identical to that on their Hong Kong Identity Card. Each registered mobile number and email address can be registered to one Membership account only, and must be valid to receive news or promotions under the BYON Membership Program. If applicants cannot provide a valid registered mobile number and email address, his/ her Member application will not proceed.

Each applicant can register once only and the Membership is non-transferable. ORIX reserves the right to refuse any application of Membership.

Member Privileges

The Member must redeem any eligible rewards with a valid Membership account. If ORIX is not the supplier of any rewards, products, services or benefits, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ORIX shall also not be liable for any losses or damages caused by or in connection with the rewards, products, services or benefits received or any product quality, warranty or suitability issues relating to the rewards (whether it relates to performance, after-sale or repair services, use or otherwise). Any enquiries, comments, complaints or disputes relating to the rewards, supplier's services or any matters concerning the rewards should be directed to the relevant supplier and ORIX will not be responsible for any such queries or disputes. Under no circumstances will we be liable for any indirect or consequential losses, even if advised of the possibility of such losses.

Member rewards are non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash or any other goods or services. ORIX reserves the right to offer any alternative rewards without prior notice.

Termination of Membership Account

Each Member has the right to request termination of the Membership account at anytime by e-mailing askme@byon.com.hk or calling 2862 9119. After confirming the relevant information, ORIX will make arrangements within 10 working days to terminate such Member’s account. On the occurrence of any of the following events, ORIX reserves the right to terminate the Membership immediately without prior notice:

If ORIX suspects fraudulent or improper use of any eligible rewards under the BYON Membership Program, or unauthorized activity during or in connection with the use of any rewards under the BYON Membership Program by any person, with or without the Member's consent or knowledge of such fraudulent or improper use; or any information provided by a Member for the purposes of its Membership application is false, incorrect or misleading.

If the Membership is terminated for any reason, any unredeemed/unused rewards will be forfeited immediately.

General Terms & Conditions

ORIX reserves the right to vary, extend or terminate these terms and conditions, or terminate, restrict, suspend, withdraw or otherwise alter the Membership rewards or the BYON Membership Program at any time without prior notice. Save for the affiliates of Orix, no other person who is not a party to these terms and conditions has any right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance (Chapter 623, the Laws of Hong Kong) to enforce any of these terms and conditions and/or benefit of these terms and conditions.These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China (“Hong Kong”). The courts of Hong Kong are to have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any disputes that may arise out of or in connection with these terms and conditions and accordingly any legal action or proceedings arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions may be brought in such courts.

The English version of these terms and conditions shall prevail wherever there is any inconsistency between the Chinese and English versions.
